Online Purchases

On balance, is online shopping worth the risk?

Understand that the risks of buying online do not differ significantly in type from risks associated with buying from a brick-and-mortar store. But it may be more difficult to protect yourself if you buy online, and the level of risk may be somewhat higher than if you deal with an established local vendor. If you take reasonable precautions and act carefully, you can often achieve substantial savings by purchasing online.
