Online Purchases
I never signed anything; is the online company still under contract to send me my goods?
Yes, so long as it is clear through your correspondence with the company that you have agreed to pay a specific price for a specific product. This clarity and specificity requirement prevents confusion and misunderstandings that can arise later, particularly in cyberspace, if the company fails to send you the items you ordered.
On the flip side, it is just as important to state clearly in your online correspondence with the company when you do not want to make a purchase. These messages should make it clear to the company that you do not wish to buy, that it should not send you the merchandise, and that you should not be charged for the items, their shipping, or their handling.
