What recourse do I have when I get to the airport with my bags but no flight?
Do you remember the old days when you got bumped from a flight? The airline would try to find you a seat on the next available flight, often with a first-class upgrade. Well, the same still generally holds true, so long as you can show that you had booked a seat. There should be an electronic ticket that provides proof of purchase. To be extra careful, you might want to arrive at the airport with a printout of a confirming e-mail from the site or a printout or your reservation from the website as additional proof.
