Copying Words and Pictures from the Internet

May I copy and print reports and information from government websites?

Yes. Copyright protection does not extend to reports and other documents generated by government agencies.

But beware of copying information from private sites to which the government site might refer you. Generally, information on private sites, though linked to the government site, is copyright protected.
