Buying a Used Car
How much information should the car seller give to the buyer?
If possible, the seller should provide the buyer with the car's complete service records and other accurate information. No seller--whether a dealer or not--should lie about the car. If the buyer is disappointed because it is not as described or does not perform as it was supposed to, the buyer may have a breach of warranty action against a deceptive seller.
