What is a car repair service contract?

A service contract is a contract for the provision of car repair services and maintenance for a set period of time. Manufacturers, contract companies, insurance companies, and car dealers offer service contracts.

Like all contracts, you should read a service contract carefully and understand what it says before you sign.
