What types of employers are regulated under the ADA?

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) covers public and private employers employing at least fifteen employees. It also covers unions and employment agencies. Remember, however, that state or local laws prohibiting disability discrimination may cover employers not covered under the ADA.
