What about other dangerous conditions on a sidewalk?

If landowners fail to take reasonable action to correct other dangerous conditions on sidewalks adjacent to their property, they might be held liable. For example, if there is a dangerous condition on the sidewalk (other than ice and snow) that the landowners knew or should have known about, and they do nothing about the condition, they may be liable in negligence if a person slips and injures himself or herself.
