Intentional Wrongs

What are intentional torts?

Intentional torts are those in which the wrongdoer intends to act in a certain way. For example, let's say Jack picks up a golf club, swings it at Jill, and hits her in the shoulder. Jack has committed the intentional torts of assault and battery. He intended to strike Jill, causing harm.
