Which children can receive benefits?

A deceased or disabled worker's unmarried children under eighteen are eligible. Children under nineteen who attend elementary or secondary school full-time also can collect. Also, a disabled child of any age can receive payments equal to approximately one-half of the worker's benefits, as long as the child became disabled before age twenty-two.
