What is the next step to appeal the Social Security claim denial?

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the reconsideration, your next step is to file a written request for an administrative hearing. You have sixty days after the reconsideration decision to make such a request. Normally, however, the hearing will not take place for several months.
