Money Management Services
I do not have a durable power of attorney or other legal tool for managing my property, but I have heard of some organizations offering "money management" services. What are these?
Money management programs, also known as daily money management or voluntary money management, represent a broad group of services designed to help older people or people with disabilities who need assistance managing their financial affairs. These services might include check depositing, check writing, checkbook balancing, bill paying, insurance claim preparation and filing, tax preparation and counseling, investment counseling, and public benefit applications and counseling.
