Buying by Mail

Does the same rule about unordered goods apply to merchants?

A merchant who receives unordered merchandise from a supplier doesn't have to pay for it, but the sender must be allowed to arrange for its return. If, however, the merchant does something that shows that he or she is willing to buy the merchandise, such as selling or displaying it, then the merchant must pay for it.
