I also purchased an additional retailer's warranty when I bought the goods that extended the manufacturer's warranty. What will this extra retailer's warranty cover?

Retailers usually offer this warranty for extended parts and labor for a much longer period of time than the manufacturer offers. Unfortunately, the retailer's warranty is useless if the place that made the promise is now out of business, unless its obligations have been taken over by another company.
