H. Fired as a Result of Discrimination

It is illegal to be fired because you are over 40, belong to a protected minority, are female, handicapped, or due to a religious observance, primarily because of such personal characteristics. Also, if you are fired for an infraction (such as reporting to work late) but other male workers with worse attendance records are only given a warning, you may allege discrimination based on preferential treatment.
