Where Do I File?

After you complete your return, you must send it to the IRS. You can mail it or you may be able to file it electronically.

Mailing Your Return

If an addressed envelope came with your tax forms package, you should mail your return in that envelope.

If you do not have an addressed envelope or if you moved during the year, click on the links below (from the IRS) to learn where to mail your return, for the area where you now live:

Filing Your Return Electronically

You may be able to file a paperless return using IRS e-file (electronic filing). Over 68 million taxpayers preferred e-file over filing a paper tax return last year. For more information, see Do I Need to File a Paper Return?
